MAC AND CHEESE – QUICK, EASY, AND HOME-MADE IN 5 MINUTES

Try out these delicious, quick and easy, home-made Mac and Cheese, when you have only 5 minutes to prepare lunch or dinner for your toddler. This is my life saver and one of my quickest solutions for a toddler meal, when the time ran faster than I planned. I grant, that it is not one of the healthiest toddler meals, but every now and then it’s ok. Also considering the fact, that my little one never stops to move, he burns off the energy of this meal quick.

Moreover, it’s home-made, so you can totally control the ingredients.

And this super easy toddler recipe has only three ingredients, that probably every one has almost always at home – milk, quick cooking pasta (2-3 minutes), and mozzarella. The quick cooking pasta can be fresh or just something like this works perfectly. The best thing – in 5 minutes, you have a freshly cooked meal ready.

So, therefore, for me this toddler recipe is a life saver for every busy mom.

If you feel bit guilty to offer your child a meal without veggies, you can add either shredded zucchini, or carrots or just a spoon of tomato paste. My little one did not ate it with the carrots though. However, with zucchini or tomato past worked just fine.

You can add some butter, if you like. My little one loves butter, but he is a very active child and he burns off a lot of energy. If your little one does not exercise much, just leave the butter out.

A healthy alternative for this 5-minutes toddler meal is a simple oatmeal. Check out this simple toddler recipe. You can leave the banana out, if your little one does not like it.
