My Body Preschool and Kindergarten Printable and Lesson Plan

My Body Preschool and Kindergarten Printable and Lesson Plan – How to Teach Your Child About Their Body – With a Fun “All About Me” Lesson Plan

As a homeschooling mom, one of my favorite early childhood themes is “All About Me.” It’s such a fun way to help little ones build self-awareness and confidence – plus, kids love learning about themselves! From their head to their toes (and every silly face they make in between), exploring their body opens the door to all sorts of learning.

That’s why I created this simple “My Body” Printable Lesson Plan and Activity Pack – designed especially for preschoolers and kindergarteners. It’s a simple, low-prep way to turn curiosity into a meaningful learning experience.

Here’s what you’ll find inside:

  • A step-by-step lesson plan, that you can spread during the week (90–120 minutes)
  • 5 engaging activities focused on body parts, facial features, hygiene, and body safety
  • Printable worksheets for tracing, matching, and drawing
  • Built-in opportunities to build fine motor skills and practice with scissors
  • Songs and movement games to keep the energy up

Your child will learn the names of body parts, begin to understand basic hygiene routines (hello, hand washing!), and build confidence as they explore what makes them them. It’s perfect for homeschool, classroom settings, or just for fun at home.

This unit is a great way to combine early literacy, motor skill development, and social-emotional learning into one joyful, hands-on week of activities. Plus, it’s a digital download—so you can print and go!

Another great thing about it – you can laminate the worksheets (for example Activity 3: Make a Face) and use them as a play-dough mat (make funny faces with play-dough).

Hi, I'm Iva — mom, hobby herbalist, and the voice behind Toddler in Action. I hold a Master's in Economics and worked as a tax advisor. I walked away from my corporate career to stay home with my child — and that one decision changed everything: I've started a blog, homeschooled, co-founded Livingston Global Academy with my husband, and learned to heal my kid naturally when medication wasn't an option. I share our first-hand experience as we go — the real life - messy, meaningful, and everything in between.
