All moms know the secret: smoothies are a great way to serve hidden fruits and veggies to your toddler. But what happens when your little one decides they’re “not crazy about” bananas anymore? I ran into the same problem! And that’s how this delicious, super easy Banana Yogurt Smoothie was born.

SUPER EASY BREAKFAST BANANA YOGURT SMOOTHIE

Hide spinach, you will understand, but hide a banana? Bananas are considered by many as yummy and they are super nutritious, especially for toddlers. One serving, or one medium ripe banana, provides about 110 calories, 0 gram fat, 1 gram protein, 28 grams carbohydrate, 15 grams sugar (naturally occurring), 3 grams fiber, and 450 mg potassium.

But well, our little one seems not to be crazy about them these days. I think I’ve served too many bananas to our little one in his first 2 years and somehow, he started not to like them anymore or at least not that often.

Cherries? Oh, yeah! Strawberries? Oh, yeah! But no bananas. I think at some point, bananas alone were too sweet and mushy for him.

So, we needed a solution, because I did not want to give up on bananas. Banana is an easy fruit and especially in the winter season a great fruit choice.

Therefore, as simple as it sounds, we created a delicious smoothie, that is a great start into the day for your toddler.
